Jump all over that ZO6 if it has not been abused for that money. The key word is not abused! Make sure you get orignal documentation with it. 8297 were built, all hardtops with manual trannys.

Factory LS6 motors with 405 HP are hard to beat as daily drivers in 'Vettes. Sheet metal cars such as SS Camaros and Birds don't even come close.

Let your future Bride take over payments on the Bird. Get the "Vette for both of you for the long run and enjoy the cars!

How about both, I made that decision a couple weeks ago and sold my WS6 for a Zo6. I had a 02 hawk #770 before the ws6. You can say the hawk is rare and I will agree with you on that but I do not think that will really affect any of us for MANY years to come so you might as well enjoy what you have, I do not drive my 94 as much as I should but then again it is easier to look at her when she is paid for. It is all what you want and I could not be happier with my decision and trust me it took me a long time to make it!(2 yrs)

Actually my Firehawk right now would stomp the z06 a new mudhole, speed wise. The 'Vette is just a more refined car. You can feel the difference just sitting in it. But then again the 'Hawk has it's own appeal that is hard to deny. Choices,choises...

i agree cause were i live the citsy is just littered with vettes (z06) there is quite a few ta's but no near as many as there are vette's but u dont have a ta its a FIREHAWK very nice and very rare. your more likely to be driving around and have the same z06 pull up next to u then u would se the same FIREhawk pull up next to u. but to make a long story short keep the FIREHAWK. u wont regret it.

You beat me to it. And to the guy trying to decide, just wait and save up for a LS7 Z06.

and the prices will continue to drop on the ls6 z06s as more info comes out on them and as time goes on.

I see no real reason to jump to an ls6 z06, in terms of performance, and looks. ls7 z06s are whole new ball game

I've started to polish the entire engine bay. This car is going to be so sweet. It's now a permanent member of the family! Screw a Z06!

This really is a tough decision. Depending on the condition of the vette, and what you are looking for.... If the vette is mint, good tires, doesnt look abused/painted, i would say hit the vette. Just make sure to put some wheels on it to differ yourself from the other 23543543 vettes that are around. They are truely a sweet machine.

firehawks are nice cars, but honeslty 95% of the people who say keep the hawk have not accually driven a z06, and until you have you dont know what it feels like to own a z06, its nite and day comparison.your going to sit here and tell me you didnt feel somthing special behind the wheel of that Z, come on now!say good bye to the hawk, and step up you deserve it.i accually think a z06 wouldnt be that bad of a race in you car, what did you dyno 380-90 to the wheels?a Z will dyno about 360-70 stock, and with the weight diffrence, it would be a good run, a Z will tick off 11's stock, so you cant complain there...you know you want one...lol.

My car dynos 420 at the wheels. You're off by only30-40 HP!!!

btw, aren't you the guy who lied about walking away during a street race from an LS1 car in your barely modified LT1? And then you got pissed when everyone called you out and then flamed you because you wouldn't admit to lying? YOUR opinions mean a lot to me.

**** a z06 cam. It's a weak dick anyhow. Why don't you look in my sig. I'm way past that point. Have you even read the rest of this thread before you posted your gay *** remarks?

And what's with the piece of thread you started about Firehawks sucking? Even if it was some try at being cute... it's not even funny! You'd better come up with better crap becasue your posts are not worth looking at. You can't get back the 12 seconds of my life I wasted looking at your stuff. Get some wit real fast or you'll find that your stay here will become unbearably turbulent.
