What were the SLP performance options?
What were the SLP performance options? Yes Ive searched....and searched and get about 25 pages worth of responses that dont answer my questions. Im a new SS(and ls1 and Camaro owner for that matter) and was wondering what were all the SLP options from the factory? I know of the SLP suspension package but what else? Thanks for any help.
In my year there was a whole raft of "options" but
it was explained to me, that SLP was basically at
liberty to load whatever they chose, onto any given
car. So for example my car (late in '02) came with
the performance exhaust but not the lid ("335HP"),
came with floor mats and other pointless stuff, the
convertibles were not allowed to order 1LE, and so
on.
So it's difficult (and unreasonable) to try and make
some normal option list as there was nothing really
normal about the SLP upgrading operation. You
could arrive at a superset, I suppose, but it would
not have any firm relation to any given vehicle.
SLP's website carried some "legacy" SS info at one
time but it seems to be slowly getting purged of
"stale" info.

Key Chains/Dash Plaque and the Portfolio are the only ones I can think of that you missed.
If I were you I would get your vin number handy and call SLP up with it. THEY will tell you what options your car has (had). And then you could ask them what options were offered in 1999.
