Callaway Speedster for sale on ebay!
Check it out
for those who dont know, in the early 90's, this was THE corvette to have if you can afford double the sticker price on the ZR1's (and thats just for the baseline Callaway Corvette TT). Callaway also made the Sledgehammer which was an upgraded normal Callaway vette that topped out at 231mph which also just so happened to have been the highest number the cars' processor could generate. This is a bad *** car

maybe, but the car is a piece of art. designed by lingenfelter and a few others. It's also rumored that the power #s given, is n/a and there arent any firm dyno runs to verify actual power (power not said is insurance saved by owner/manufacturer). oh ya, the body is made from race weight carbon fiber

Still love the speedsters. Ran across a 1988 Callaway twin turbo 35th anniversary Vette at a local car show a few weeks back. Didn't even know there was one in town. I saw one for sale at a good price but needed some restoration but it said it was a 1984 and I didn't think Callaway started modding Vettes till around 86 or 87.

84? if so, its not one of the TT's....unless he had callaway install everything? i think the 1st year was 88. my dad has a 91 and its awesome to drive....and being that i am familiar with turbo cars (besides the callaway), with its 6 or 7 lbs of boost, i'm a bit skeptic about only having the power they claim, especially while having 2 T-4b turbos capable of double the cars claimed amount. but ya, definately awesome cars

I'm doubting it was really a Callaway. I think it just had the hood/nose on it. I'm pretty sure I saw an 87 Callaway but not sure about an 86. The price in the 84 was WAY to good to be real.
