What's your point? Yeah...92 was last year for 3rd gen but no 3rd gen got the LT1, only the Vette did in 92. The Camaros got it in 93. Just like the 97 Vette got the LS1 and in 98 the Fbodies got it.

Several documented examples exist with factory installed LT1 motors. Perhaps in the future, others will surface.
Thats the point........

There was a PROTOTYPE 25th anniversary car that had the LT1 as well as a Firehawk PROTYPE. Show me ONE production F car that got an LT1 in 92? I know about the 1LE...It's a suspension package, not a motor package.

www.musclecarmuseum.com Two others are in the hands of private owners on the left coast. As I said, there may be more that are not public knowledge.
In 92, 1LE could have been had with engine oil cooler, 4-wheel disc brakes, duel converter exhaust, alum. driveshaft and a Hi-Perf fuel pickup in a special baffled gas tank. Thats a bit more then a suspension package IMO.
They are special cars that exist - why deny it?

The FL FHP uses Z28 Camaros. I couldve sworn they said Z28 on them also. They have a small tune or chip in them and suspension supposidly. Thats what they said they have on it.

There was one of those FHP cars on Ebay the other week. It looked SUPER clean too. Wish I had the money to buy it. You can't keep them the same color in Florida because of some law but in other states you could re-equip it as a full police car.

Yeah i work for Caltrans and we get CHP officers roll in our yard ever so often and i asked him what was different about them all he could say was the suspention. Also said they retire the cars right at 100,000 then go up for auction. If anyone has the option to purchase a CHP car the officer said the black and white cars are on a local 8 hr shift only and are the ones to get because the full white cars are used on a 24/7 beat ran 24/7.This i just what the officer told me who knows if he was BSing me or not
