Cop Camaro's
http://www.sspmustang.org/gallery5.htm
there were 2, 92 RS Camaro's that where supposed to be 25th aniversary cars, they had a ZF 6 speed tranny, a warmed up TPI 350 motor with prototype large tube runners that never made it into production. the HP rating was 300hp
if you want more info on these 2 cars.. GMHT magazine did a story on them and other "rare" cars a few months ago.. they have pictures of that car, as well as its engine and runners.. the 2 cars were white with black heritage stripes, RS grills and badges, and were never put into production because the retail cost was too high at the time for a camaro.

They specialize in police vehicles, and they clean everything up real nice and do any necessary maintainence before they put the cars up for sale.
They're based out of Largo, FL. I'm in the process of buying an 02 from them right now and they've been very helpful and very friendly.
You can also check eBay, there's almost always one up you just have to check back every once in a while.

Those holes are for the siren, not for brake cooling.
Someone mentioned the [LS1] B4Cs have a different suspension than the Z. That's true, but the only difference is the B4Cs have the 1LE LCAs. As Scott Settlemire has indicated on numerous occasions, that's the only performance difference between the B4C and the Z28. Appearance (no badges, color matched top on the B) and option packages were a bit different, but you could get about any option available to the Z for the B4C with the exception of T-tops.
I would think the rare B4Cs (low mileage, mint condition), especially the M6 would start to appreciate in value because of the limited numbers when compared to the Z.
What does everyone call those wheels? I haven't seen them on anything except the police camaros.
B4Cs are LS1 cars that ARE NOT Z28s. B4Cs have body color tops and there is no t top option. Other than that you could option it any way you wanted (6 speed, leather, Monsoon, traction control) most B4Cs were "no option cars" which is diffrent than "strippers." B4Cs usualy were cloth interior, tape deck, foam (not leather wrapped) steering wheel, bare rubber shifter (autos), and had rear defroster, fog lights and block heater. All auto B4Cs came with 3.23s and aluminum driveshafts. (2.73 Z28s didnt have aluminum drive shafts but all 3.23 cars did). There are no Z28 badges (because its not a Z28).
now some police departments ordered their cars diffrently, some came ordered them with traction control, but usualy if a car has options (M6, leather etc) it was never a police car. Some police departments (we have a V6 that Indiana State Police used as a motor pool car) used V6 cars, but they arent anything special, they are just regular V6 Camaros. Other police departments even use Z28s, but B4Cs are what I said above.
The Defroster and the fog lights are actually options. To my knowledge the B4C package was a special service package that was only available on the Z28 due to it having the SS decarbons and springs. Additionally it included a transmission oil cooler as well as a 140 Amp alternator. My car is badged on the rear and has both the Z28 door code and the B4C codes.
I have seen many B4C's where I live that are badged on the rear but not on the sides (as I own two) as Z28 so I am pretty sure that they are z28's as you stated they weren't. They have a V8 and therefore are a Z28 badged or not.
I own several B4Cs and every one that I have seen is a V8 (be that an LT1 or LS1 and are Z28 (which denotes the V8 engine)). The B4C option would be idiotic in a V6 car and I am not aware of any that came with the B4C code.
Also, police departments could order their B4C cars with any options that they wanted (leather, chrome wheels etc.) However, most opted not to for cost reasons.

If that car says Z28 on the rear, and the driver's side door plackard says "B4C", then either the Z28 was added after the car was produced, or it was put on by mistake at the factory. I've heard that some of the first [prototype] B4Cs produced in 98 had Z28 emblems, but I have not been able to confirm this.
I bought both a new 2002 Z28 and a 2002 B4C, and was able to compare the build sheets. Same suspension (except lower control arms), same engine, same programming, same brakes, same alternator, etc. etc. What made the B4C special was the much lower production numbers, and the fact that it wasn't a Z28 (essentially the same thing as a Z28, just coded differently).
