Anyway, I've seen one Comp R Red being driven to a car show and one blue unloaded from a trailer at a car show.
Again, this boards lack of automotive knowledge outside the 98+F/97+Y car astounds and greatly disappoints me!
If I had $18,000 to spend on a car at the time, that would have been it. I'm suprised it didn't sell for a whole lot more.
Try 13.16@110.21 back in the day by Hi-Performance Cars.
Don't believe everything you read on the internet or hear from your dad/grandpa/etc...
They need quite a bit to get down there. I had a friend who was the original owner of one of the 4 TH400 ZL1s, and it only was in the 10s after tubbing and a good amount of weight reductiona dn suspension work.
There are a few in the 8s/9s with 300-500 N2O shots, Merlin motors etc.
And that would be quickest anyway. Fast is speed, quick is ET

The 69 Yenko is NOT the same as the ZL1 The 1969 ZL1 was a TRUE PRODUCTION CAR. Fred Gibb was the main dealer behind the aluminum ZL1 cars. The Yenko was simply an endorsed dealer edition, COPO car, similar to the ZL1. The 2002, ZL1 stage 3, is NOT a PRODUCTION CAR.

90% of the comments about year, model, and details blows my mind. I need a drink.

Having spoken to you in the past, I know you know your history!

I was going to get a set from my friend Julian for $450 shipped (awesome price) but since I have an LS1 rear, I decided that I didn't want to go looking for another rear and some spacers. He had the Silver with black inserts and went with a powdercoated Black with silver lip.
his car with the wheels I was going to buy,
It was a driver's race between the TTA and Firehawk. If you knew how to launch a turbo V6, it would easily beat the Firehawk. Mine went 13.0 at MIR when mine was stock but it did have Firestone Firehawks, which were better than the Gatorbacks for sticking. 1.88-1.90 short times all day long that day. If I would have had a paper clip, I could have run 12's but it was completely stock.
Here's a pic from '01 at the 35th F-Body show at the Corvette museum. My car and the green Firehawk.

BTW, the owner of #13 (i.e. the first owner) also purchased a brand new 1987 GNX. He said #13 would spank the GNX stock for stock. He also owned a 94 Viper and said #13 would stay within a half fender to the Viper thru 60mph and then the Viper would start pulling away.

Is there any demand for a 3rd Gen SLP 2OTL Exhuast that came on the Firehawks? I bought one thinking it was from the 4th gen, come to find out its for a 3rd gen, the tail pipes have the slight bend up in them.
It sounds great on my cammed LS1 and flows great too. Since the 3rd Gen Firehawk was pretty rare, would you say the exhaust is rare as well?
