As far as I remember (if I remember correctly) it was a show car for SLP Performance. Last I had heard of the car, Matt Murphy from GMMG owns it.
If you go to gmmginc.net , under gallery then employees cars, there is a picture of it.

There were only 2 hugger orange LT1 era SS done.
1st car: promo car for SLP. Delivered to SLP as a 1995 body in white which is basically an unbuilt shell. You gotta put the whole car together yourself. The car was a 95 hardtop that SLP painted and tried to get a hopped up 383 LT4 to work in it but couldn't iron it out so it sat for a while. Then the 97 30th came out so they put the new dash in it and 30th interior and a blue printed LT4 like in the 100 30th LT4 cars. Matt Murphy bought it and thats its story.
2nd car was for a Canadian dealership owner. He had Zeke auto (GM Tier 1 supplier) repaint a t-top 30th anniv (white orange) into a clone of the SLP car. I think the car remained an LT1 car but it was a t-top and had Km gauges.
