Special WS-6 ASC Prepared Badge #xxx
I have been talking to Alan at CAR@carmotorsports.com and brought up the question about making special badges for WS-6 similar to 30th ann. I can't post my prototype badge on webshots because of copyright, but if you e-mail me I will send you a photo. The one I made is just a suggestion any ideas welcome. Cost will depend on how many are made. He said probably around $80-$95.

Re: Special WS-6 ASC Prepared Badge #xxx
All WS-6 cars (including 30th. Ann.)I think from 93-02 were shipped by Pontiac to ASC, hoods, replaced with ram-air, exhuast and suspension upgrades added, 17 inch wheels and tires added. Unfortionately, unlike 30th Ann. T/A, WS-6 cars do not come with "numbered badges" but are documented with build number. I think they made 221 Firebird Formula WS-6 cars in 98.

Actually I believe SLP did the conversions until 98 when the contract was given to ASC. I cant recall the exact year when the current WS6s were frst "made" but I dont think it was 93.
how about sending me a pic of this badge emblem?

marty.straub@ascglobal.com is who you need to contact for build number, maybe you will have better luck than me. SLP rules, but I guess you get what you pay for. I plan on having two badge styles ( T/A, Formula). As far as build #'s on badges, that is part of what I am trying to work out. As I said, we need to agree. A totally custom badge will be just that, and priced accordingly. I am trying to get as much feedback as possible, so far everyone just wants to buy a finished product. Play with your photo editor or simply give me an idea and I will try to create an image to promote. These will be quality mold formed badges so the producer is reluctant to do build numbers. One idea is to do a seperate mold for build number that is attached to the badge. This would probably only work on an internal style badge. The other idea is a clear section that has the number section clear in color so that the build number can be a sticker behind or changable with each mold. Anyone that knows a possible alternitive let me know.
