Unless you can find one that you are sure isn't beat on, then don't get it. I'd keep the hawk, maybe get an engine rebuild, and buy a daily driver. Run the DD into the ground, and not the hawk, or the 03 Cobra, should you choose to get it.

good idea to wait til after you graduate.thats my plan, but im surprised no one mentioned an 02 z06. They are only a few thousand $ more, weigh 549lbs less and have a bit more power N/A. I know it will also cost a little more to maintain, but if you are a good lawyer you could afford it. Just a thought for ya...

eh
idk if i would go that far. The 01 z06s are great too and about the same prices as cobras. and if you do buy one of these cars it shoud not be for dding, especially the z being so low to the ground. But either way you can't go wrong. Just be patient and wait for the right one to come along. I did and check out the car i got. The looks i get on the street, especially with the top down, are priceless. Good luck!

Either choice you make is going to cost some $. Its a matter of what your end goal is. If the Hawk is paid off I would drop the coin in it and make it new again with a fresh engine. I am fortunate to own both a ws6 and a cobra and both of them are a blast to drive.

Keep the bird ,keep the bird!!!!!! Nah seriously man why would you want to go 10k more in debt just keep going to school and from time to time spend $500 dollar on volts on and a little more if you can. By the time you finish with school you will have a very fast car and then you can buy whatever the hell you want with what you are suppose to make...

Keep the hawk i have a 99 with pro charger the hell with a cobra. GM can put a motor out there that does not need a charger on it to make power. Just think if gm put a charger on a ls2 then what. I like the cobra but if ford cant make power without putting a charger on it then its not worth it. Just think if they put a charger on the new z06 six motor then you have something. Hey a least they circle the problem one the front of fords. the hawk.
