LS1 Formula WS6 owners...
Hey, I didn't see a spot for us LS1 Formula WS6 owners, so I thought I'd start one up. Who else is out there? Pics? How did you end up with a Formula WS6? LT1s are welcome too, I just love the whole max performance/minimalist styling concept. (as minimalist as chrome rims and bulging hood scoops will allow...)

well heres my shitty pic again, mines an lt1, i guess i just fell into this car, at the time it was either a 99 a4 trans am ls1 car or my 96 WS6 formula, something about the whole formula WS6 thing really stood out for me, probably becouse i have never really seen many in my life time. Also i had to have a 4th gen f body that came factory with 17 inch wheels and any of the ws6's in ls1's in equal condition to mine where tapping on the 17k$ marker ya thats what led me to mine, i love it! i am SLP number 0799

Greetings- I have a Pewter 2000 WS6 Formula 6 Spd (Still trying to get the pics to load) with only 5600 miles on it (thats right...hundred...not thousand). The car has been my baby since day one and has only seen rain once by accident!
I chose the Formula because I think it is a better looking car without all the excess plastic that the TA's have, that big goofy wing just doesn't do it for me. It has every option available except the inflatable side bolster seats (TA) as well as the rarely seen N66 Salad Shooter wheels.
Some have said I am sick for performing all the mods listed in my sig with such a low mileage car...but man, that thing runs like a raped prom date now. What do you guys think? Do I have a problem?

Jon, those salad shooters look so cool on a Formula WS6, I love it. How rare are those rims? It was just the one year, and only in very limited quantities, right?
Everyone's cars look great, thanks for posting. If you haven't posted a picture yet, please do along with some info, I'm anxious to see more.
It's funny how I got mine, it was January of '03, I was looking to trade my '97 A4 TA in on an LS1 WS6 TA. (just broke up with my automobile-oppressive girlfriend, hell with that it was January, I was anxious) I really wanted black, M6, chrome, TT, leather, CD. I finally found a beat-up black '01 TA that met my requirements, and I since pickin's were slim, I decided to just get it. They refused to give me what I wanted on my trade though, so I decided to go to Carmax of all places to sell the old one outright. I never would have gone there otherwise, but when I walked into the showroom, the very first car sitting there, next to an '01 Z06, was the soon-to-be-mine Formula WS6. I had never even really paid attention to Formula WS6s, but this was a wake-up. It was $4k less than the TA, and it was perfect. The only things it didn't have were leather and a CD, but it does now. I even got to take the Z06 for a test drive as part of the deal. The best part was, the salesman was a car nut. He told me to drive it like it was meant to be driven. Ironically, they ended up giving me even less than the other dealer had offered for my trade... I still paid thousands less.
