It came out in 99... I would think the 99 HO camaro's were really available end of 98 when the 99's come out............. filming in late 98 or early 99 then the HO would definitely be possible.........
I searched google for "fight club movie camaro" and all it really gave me was a link to this thread!!!! HEY GUYS WERE FAMOUS... WERE ON GOOGLE!!!
Sharpe... dude u got my sloppy 2nds....... I was banging Jen before she was with Brad!!!!!!!!!!
Will someone with a dvd player and computer and some form of computer skills please post a pic in here?
Preferably the camaro scene in fight club, but if not boobies will suffice......

The peel-out did look legitimate, not computer generated, which makes me lean towards it having a 8cyl.
If you are referring to the lack of any badging, I think they probably could have/would have removed or computer generatedly covered up the Z28 or SS badges like they typically do in movies. (they don't want to give Chevy free advertizing now do they? Unless Chevy gave them a nice check)
I just think that until proven wrong..... I'm going to assume it is my car..........
I might change my screen name to FIGHTCLUB99HUGGERZVERT
ahhhhhhhhh maybe not. thats even longer than my current one.

You gentlemen revived an almost three year old thread.
That said, it looks like a 1998 Camaro V6 Bright Rally Red Convertible with the Y3F Sport Appearance Package (RS was not available in '98).

Thanks squee.
I honestly never noticed the tan boot. I never got the boot when I bought mine. Good call, it has the gray interior and black top. I know the top was replaced right before I bought it, but I would assume it came with a black top. Good catch.
My friend recently brought the fight club thing up to me, so I googled "hugger orange camaro fight club" and go figure... this was the first thing that came up! Never let a good thread die lol!
FYI, I still have the car, still runs great, just took it on a 3000 mile trip to FL this april. 106,000 miles now. Gotta love those LS1's!!!!
