Default Hugger Orange Camaro featured in movie Fight Club

Just wondering if anyone has any knowledge on this car.
It is shown when Brad Pitt steals the car from outside an airport about 20 minutes into the movie.
I have a car that looks identical to it, and usually have the DVD in my car to show anyone wants to see it!
It is a 99 convertible with the chrome 5 spoke factory rims
I don't know if it's a SS or Z28, or even a 6cyl
You can hear it peel out leaving the parking spot but that could obviously be added sound.
The badges are either removed or just edited out.
My car was originally titled in California for 4 years(where I would assume the movie was made)...... but I would think someone would know if their car was featured in a movie.
Thanks in advance for any input!

Interesting to note cars like your own in movies / TV.

I remember the spin-off of the X-files where the two nerdy guys (can't remember what they called themselves) had their own show. One of their friends drove a black LS1 WS6 T-Top, though it was pretty cool (the car, not the show).

Then there was the episode of "King of the Hill" where Peg flunks the HS football star and Mr. Strickland buys him a black WS6 'vert as a "gift".

I'm almost positive it was Hugger Orange, but you guys are going to make me go look again.......

Anyone have any ideas of how to find out what happened to a car that was shown in a movie? Carfax just showed mine was titled in CA until like 2002, I figured that there aren't that many HO Verts out there, who knows, maybe I'll put it on e-bay with a clip of the movie and sell it for $69,000 (slingshot style)
"for only $69,000, you can own a car Brad Pitt's butt touched"

the X-files spinoff was 'The Lone Gunmen', and the bigger jock guy had the black WS6, im guessing an 01-02. it was cool, decent show. little did i know a few months later id end up buying a new one myself. i never saw the king of the hill episode, but ill have to find it somehow.....

Default Definitely hugger Orange

I just checked the DVD in my car and it's definitely a HO camaro.
Too bad the badges don't show... unless it was a 6cyl..... but that would really suck.

I'm guessing no one has any info on the car from the movie?
Any ideas on how to find out? I have a feeling if I just called the studio they wouldn't even know what to do with the question!

(From memory)

It looked like it was a convertable, it had the RS spoiler/body kit and chrome '98-'99 base 5-spokes.

It looked like a V-8 the way it spun the tires...

It was definitely a 'vert with the chrome 5spokes. I didn't notice any body kit, looked like stock z-28 ground effects, rear bumper and spoiler.

Definitely Hugger Orange.
but, people that don't look close tell me my car is red all the time.....
I always have to correct them and let them know that it is the #1 all time best classic muscle car color...........HUGGER ORANGE!!!!!!

I would post a pic but I'm computer retarded.
I'm sure someone out there can pull it from a dvd and put in on here..... but that someone definitely isn't me!
My TV is fine.... I have a 55in in my living room and DVD player with 7in screen in my dash....... they both say HUGGER ORANGE!!!
Could be my eyeballs that have issues.. but I've never accidentally tried to get into someone's red camaro in a parking lot thinking it was mine! (although I have with my old truck... plain black nissan......)

Anyone have Brad's cell #... he could probably tell us..... I lost it when I got a new cell phone.........

I lost it when he left Jen (who I was ******* while he was gone). He changed it after that.

But, if you think about it, which is more likely? Red or HO? There are 100 time more red Camaros out there.

What year did the movie come out?
