Throw out everything you just said.

Your '02 Firehawk has the same size injectors as all LS1 equipped vehicles that year. Fact.

The largest aftermarket throttle body you can use on your stock LS6 intake manifold (all LS1's got the LS6 intake '01+) is 80mm (BBK makes one)

I had a nice ported and polished stock unit... they are all proven to gain about 9hp at the wheels. There's no need to pay stupid money on a 80mm unit when you can have yours ported/exchanged for a fraction of the cost.

On the tuning question... if you plan to get more serious mods in the next 6 months I'd wait to have your car tuned... right now you'll gain 20hp with good tuning and a 160* thermostat, but if you plan to do headers/cam/etc just wait and get the major package dialed in.

Post pictures of your Firehawk!!! Welcome.

a couple of weeks ago a mechanic at a local dealership come to my house and delete my CATS for $30 and he told me that the #'s on my injectors were not stock #'s from what he could recall, so that is what raised the question in my mind. Thanks for your reply, that was very informational.

im sorry what do you mean, he had a obd II lap top and I was only going to let him delete my cags and air later on but not tune my car. When I get it tuned I will go to Tulsa and get it dyno tuned by Ed Wright who has had many awards for LS1's for only $350. So what do you mean by don't let that guy touch your car??
