when i bought this 95 T/A last Sept. the first think i noticed was the leather in this car and the guy told me that he was told there were less then 700 cars with this black n red leather combo...he wasnt sure if it was just a F-body thing or the vettes had it also..heck i dunno i havent seen any like this and im always being asked about it ...anybody else have the same look or know anything about it?? I haven't seen another Trans Am with seats like that, but I personally like it.

 

Ya, I've seen that before. What the guy told you sounds correct. Was a not so sought after option in the LT1 days.

 

2 or 3 of them were at the ta nats. pretty nice looking on the right car.

Those are frickin' awesome! I don't think I knew those existed.... I've seen the white before but not red.

 

The red leather was available in 96 as well. I almost ordered it but I couldn't justify paying that much extra just to have red seats.

 

Correct. I remember test driving a new 96-WS-6 in 96. It was red exterior with the red/leather/black interior, just like the pic's. Looked great, but was too much money back then(over-list) because of demand.

ya i like it too! im always being asked if i did it or if it was factory..the only thing i did was made my own custom brackets so i could move the seats back alittle over 2 more inches so i can fit in the car since im 6'6..and i have heard im one of the lucky ones to not have the famous worn spot yet.

 

Yes it was a 95 and very very early 96 option only. There are a few 95 white Hawks running around with the red seats. #337 for sure.

 

Not sure about numbers/options, but those red seats seats look sick on the white, especially with the red on the hood.

 

those seats look great i wish i could get a set. or the white ones. i used to work with a kid years ago who had a black lt1 z28 and i think he had red leather as well. but they could have been aftermarket covers i'm not sure.

 

Those look sweet did they do them in LS1 cars too? How much of a option were they $$$ wise?

 

Wow, first time I've ever seen that, I saw a white leather on a white T/A 'vert, but that looks great, nice cars folks.

 

i have a 6cyl in my salvage yard with red interior. i think it looks good, my 97 z28 vert also has factory red interior which i have never seen on another camaro before.
