That thing is trashed inside and out. Either the t-tops were left off, or some moron cut the seats. I'd like to see what the oil looks like as well. From what I've seen so far, I'd say time to send that car to the big garage in the sky.............PART IT OUT! The hood, wing, and rear 1/4 has damage.

The good news is that even if you buy it for $6k...

And then tear it down to the bare uni-body and restore it to it's former glory, you'll still have a nice 10th anny Firehawk that people will drool over once you're done.

Honestly, if I had the garage space and time I'd take on the project.

Nothing like the 4th of July, apple pie, and working on your Trans Am in the garage on a nice sunny weekend.

good call. id say thats a formula rear also, with TA front. definete damage replacement somewhere. im guessing front, since the hood is beaten also. this car is a total travesty. you wouldnt even get your money back if you bought it for 5k then restored it and sold the next day. youd have to wait another 10yrs for it to appreciate. and god forbid if word got out to what this car actually looked like before the resto.....

Dont be a puss, this guy sound legit. lol

It only needs, "minor work"... by minor he means 5k+ easy. Replacing the quarter panel, door, fender, and hood is all "minor"? Not to mention any interior or mechanical problems on a 70k+ Ls1... No thanks. Not worth 3k IMHO.

Oh it's not that bad lol, a new firehawk hood alone costs 1300, not painted.

Has to be the rear bumper that was replaced.
All 10th Ann'y cars were Trans Am models.
The hoods are known for their gel coat release too.

All original parts are there, original bumper, etc. SLP painted hood and wing need repaint (peeling) no damage from wrecks etc. Thief broke in with a crowbar damaging the door/fender/quarter is what worries me.

every trans am firehawk i've looked at has that bumper. Besides if the bumper was wrecked i'd imagine those exhaust tips would be toast as well.

I think i may see what you mean, the bulge in the rear bumper - the T/A is flat in that area?

i suppose i'll refrain from buying her then - if that's not the orig. bumper there is no telling what else they haven't mentioned...poor poor car. It will most likely be parted out to boot...

If i had the funds to save just one rare car from the crusher, even though most likely you'd loose out money on it, I would. Just my .02

Someone hand me a gun to put her out of her misery. It's beyond saving. If it's in this sad state, you can only imagine what it's been through and how bad it's been treated. Good for parts though, but not at that price.

Since no one has said it yet....... That will buff right out.

On a more serious note. Who ever let that happen to that poor car, deserves to have their ******* impaled on that factory shifter.

What the hell is up with these mistreated hawks? There is one in my town that looks terrible because the previous owner didnt treat it very well, quarter panel, dented, cracked lens, missing light lid, the current owner is working on it, but still, WHY?
