1LE option question

1LE option question i know they were supposed to be option delete but is there any 1LE cars that have options on them?
like power windows, doors, or seat?
for some reason my car came with power door locks. when i ordered it i said no options but it came with those and door side trim to protect against neighboring car doors.
now that i look back on it, i do appreciate these options. lol

In 1999 GM discontinued the 1LE program, but 2001 SLP brought back the 1LE option, so in the end 1LE could be had with virtually any options.
My 2002 SS, has power everything, AC, T-Tops and SLP 1LE.

i remember reading that SLP was taking over for GM and figured that if it was an option from them that you could get a fully loaded car. what i mean is the GM optioned cars, GM deleted everything.

I remember the 1LE option was $1,175 and when you ordered one on a Firebird (Formula Only) you recieved an $1,125 credit cause they deleted all the power options (PW PL PM) and the Monsoon CD. So in essence it only cost $50. Although the WS6 option ($3,150) was a requirement.
The ONLY true 1LE cars were built by GM
The SLP car are not of the same caliber,JMHO..(Throwing on shocks doesnt make it 1LE) Now if u were lucky enough to order a 1LE from GM and have SLP convert it to a SS u were a very lucky person....

mines a 99 1LE SS. i told the sales lady no matter what it had to have 1LE, hugger orange paint, monsoon CD, white leather interior, and anything else that was performance oriented. she called about a month later and told me that there was a HURST option so i got that too. then it came with the locks, and i had read that the 1LE deleted all options so i was wondering if any one else had a fluke, if it even IS a fluke.
that is why i asked the option question.
p.s. i just re read my initial post and i look like a retard, what i meant when i said it came with the door guards is, i told the sales lady what options i absolutely wanted and if it came with anything else fine, if not that was better. so i ended up with the door locks and the door guards.

98-99 you could get a 1le with options. The power options was the 1SD package which was an addition 4200 + option. In 99 the 1LE was @ 1300. Ordered this car but never bought it. 93-97 was delete everything including a/c.

Verdad Gallardo Yes there were REAL 1LE SS camaro's just like the gentleman has and they are rare as could be,I would love to own one,anything after that are just susp options cars...The Firehawk was never ordered as a formula 1LE and then converted to a Hawk but like this guy said there were a few done as SS cars..

not too sure about 98, but those gfx were not available in 99. i tried like a mother to get them. i even priced them to install on the car after it arrived, but as i wanted to pull a COPO in 20 years, i chose not to install anything non factory, or at least not reversible. i.e. stereo, tuner.
i am on the fence about the euro tails, i like and i dont. i feel the same about the stockers too. lol
that seller is a little hung up on the 1LE, listing everything. he forgot the part numbers and prices including labor though. lol
on a side note of his article, i thought it was only the lower arms that were different...actually if i am correct here (memory serving) there isnt even an upper control arm. he might want to check his car. it might be a one off as he says. lol
