Year One Formula Owners.... Any Year One Formula owners in here? My dad just got one a few weeks ago. He got tired of seeing me drive my car all the time so he finally got one. Just trying to find all the owners of these cars out there. Also, has anyone gotten the Phase 2 package for these cars. My dad's car is getting the Phase 1 package put on right now. Please write back. Thanks.......
Re: Year One Formula Owners.... I just joined the site. I purchased one of the last 2 Year One Formulas from Carl Black about 2 months ago. It's white with the blue stripes down the side. I opted for the optional leather interior and got the head rests to match the badges. Let me know how your dad comes out with the Stage 1 package and all that cause I ran into a guy the other night from GMMG and he said to give him a call to have the Stage 1 put on and setup a follow up visit when my warranty goes out for the Stage 2 package. Glad to see someone else out there is around with a Year One Edition.

Re: Year One Formula Owners.... Hey. Good to hear from you. I thought we had the only white car with blue stripes. But I guess not. I think ours was the last one purchased. There were no others around so I'm guessing that it was. What color leather interior do you have? My dad is wanting to get that done since we didn't get that on ours. I was wanting to get white with blue inserts. Do you have any pics of your car? Do you live in Atlanta? If so, how far do you live from GMMG or Carl Black in Kennesaw? We are picking up the car either Wednesday or Thursday. We would like to take a look at the leather seats and maybe get some pics of the two cars. Let me know. my email is tsmith212@comcast.net
Re: Year One Formula Owners.... I'm pretty sure yours was the last car. Cause I bought mine and the other white car was the last one left. I went with the Ebony leather interior. It really matches the black trim in the rest of the car. If it wasn't for the fact I've had a light colored interior before, I probably would have gone with the white with blue inserts. I was actually thinking about black with blue inserts but decided on solid black instead. It works great with my windows too cause the tint looks darker against the black interior. I apologize that it has taken so long to respond but I just saw you had posted on here again. I'll be up at a car show tomorrow at the Cumming Fairgrounds and I'll be at a cruise night up there tomorrow night too. Re: Year One Formula Owners.... Come on ya'll...I know there have got to be more than 2 people in here with the Year One Edition Formula's from Carl Black. I ran into one owner at a Cruise Night on Riverstone Parkway in Canton about 2 weeks ago with a SOM one. And I've seen a blonde girl driving one around Alpharetta as well as someone with a silver one. I'm trying to track down all the cars that were purchased because I can't find anyone that can tell me how many were made. I know that there's a 495hp one in red that is owned by a man at Year One. Someone please respond.

Re: Year One Formula Owners.... I'm trying to track down how many were made too. I called up Carl Black and they told me that there was only like 11 or 12 made. I'm going to make some more calls this week and see what I can find. If I get some more info I'll be sure to post it. The only "real" info that I have right now is that there are only 6 cars with the Stage 1 380hp package. And I have one of them 
Re: Year One Formula Owners.... Well let me know what you find out cause I've heard from Carl Black that something like 14 were done. But yeah I know about the stuff GMMG is doing and they said mine would be car 7 when I talked to Matt a couple of weeks ago. Best of luck to you if you find out.

I read on Year One's site that two of the Trans Am Blackbirds would be ragtops. Have ya'll seen any of those running around?

I was thinking about taking a letter up to Carl Black to see if they would send it out to all the owners that bought one. By the way, Year One is having a big show on Saturday at there new shop up in Braselton. From what I hear it's fairly big with lots of F-Bodies and other muscle cars. Not sure about all the details.

I know my friend who has a Blackbird got a list of all those cars. Its got listed the # of the car, VIN, color, cpe/vert, and a couple other things. Maybe you could get something like that from Carl Black. I'll make some more calls and see what I can do.
