I'd want to take a real hard look before I spent even
$65.00 on this. Five speed auto? Not.

T/A front end? Only Formulas were built as Firehawks
in 95. A T/A is a quick give-a-way to a fake.

Get the VIN number and call Joey at SLP.
They'll tell you right away if it's the real deal.
Great people.

Something seems fishy, the trans am nose on a 1995 is def not suppose to be there. Nice red seats though.

It's real.

Dash plaque
TOTL
Speedline wheels

Each of those while can be purchased (expensive these days), would not be something some one would add to the car to clone it if they've purchased a TA nose and WS6 (not a Firehawk) hood for it.

My guess is this is a real 95 white/red leather auto hardtop Bilstein suspension Firehawk (minimal fender gap gives it away) that some dumbass wrecked and instead of fixing it right, put a TA nose and a 96-97 WS6 hood on. It can be brought back but I'd be weary of the collision damage. Nose will be easy to replace, the hood however will be VERY hard to find.

Just have the owner send you a picture of his RPO code sticker in the dash glove box. If code R6V is there and VIN on the sticker matches the car's VIN, you have a real Hawk.

That good info will help you from getting scammed. Price isn't everything especially if the seller is trying to pass off a fake.

What are you looking to spend and what are you looking for in a Firehawk? low miles, overall condition? colors? transmission? specific years?

To give you an idea $6500 is WAY high considering the work that car needs when put up against the reality that there are lower mileage 93-97 all stock Firehawks out there hovering around the 8000-9000 range the just need gas and an owner to drive them.

If you want some help finding one, PM me with your buying criteria and I will help you find one. I know LT1 Firehawks inside and out and what they are worth based on their condition and miles.

My wife and I picked it up for 4500 last night. It is a true Firehawk. SLP Confirmed Vin number.. It got into a wreck back in 98 and the owner changed the front end and hood to a T/A and WS6 hood.

It needs a hood and a firebird front bumper. Everything else is original. I forund a bumper for 20.00 and a White WS6 hood ( Not Firehawk Hood) for 400.00 local.. So for around 1000.00 with everything painted is what we are looking at..
