I guess its a company that does their own performance modifications to F-Bodies? Did you buy your car from them or another owner? They have a 6.5ltr option for almost 17k more.

Even though they offered big powered engine options they were best known for there improved handling and unique appearance. The hood and spoiler are much more than just appearance items also. At high speeds the extractor hood improves air flow through the radiator by eliminating the pressurized pocket under the hood as well as having ram air in the front. It also lessens the lift affect under the nose of the car. At high speeds our cars also want to lift in the rear, that was corrected with the high downforce wing. Even the lowered stance of the car with the raked nose played a roll in aerodynamics.
My car was one of eight Mechams that sold new at a local Pontiac dealership, Its number 4 0f 14 T/A's built in 98. Mine came lowered approx. 1.5" with the full Hotchkis road racing suspension, poly bushings ect. right off the dealer lot. To this day the suspension is near unchanged from new. As far as performance it came with Mechams high flow exhaust, air intake, B/M ripper shifter and 373 gears. The base Mecham package was much more than appearance and a drastic improvement in feel over a stock T/A. The option list was through the roof on these cars with anything from stroker engine packages, carbon fiber drive shafts, Brembo brakes ect.
Here are a few crappy pics of my car, there all I have at this time. I changed the wheels but other than that the car is as delivered from Mecham as far as appearance.. even the stance.
