SLP G8 Firehawk?
oh christ!!! Like someone else said....a Firehawk is BIRD...nothing else. Then again GM went about stamping SS on anything and everything for a while there. I can't wait till these come out and some yuppie buys it parks next to my Firehawk and tries to compare our hawks....response being..."you sir, do not have a Firehawk by any means" I just showed my gf this, and she was like, "thats like Ford calling their Focus a Cobra, If its not a firebird it can't be a Firehawk"

It's true.. I was in the meeting room and heard it straight out of Dave Hamburger's mouth. I also have the brochure.
While it may be a "disgrace" as you guys put it to the Firehawk - or Firehank
- name ... It will still be a performer. The highest tier will be a blown G8, and that will be available pretty darn soon.
Additionally they have been working a blower for the 4th gen SS's (and I'd assume Firehawks as well) It will supposedly clear the hood, so my assumption is it's a roots style blower since it seems to be much more common on factory cars nowadays.

Firehawk G8 OMFG whats next? The car looks stock with Firehawk stickers. This can not be true. F-Body Firebirds are the only cars that should be able to wear Firehawk badges. I can live with a SLP GX8 .

I just drove the 12 hours back from Indy. This is real and we've been planning it for the last year.
I will comment more tomorrow, but for now the actual Teaser brochure that I gave away at the CamaroZ28.com banquet and at the track:
I cannot get into performance questions/answers quite yet, but lets just say the performance on our Supercharged model is more than impressive, 50 state legal and fully warranted.
The reaction was overwhelming with the exception of a few snide remarks from past F-Body Firehawk owners who obviously think we should have let the name die.
