DONOR TRUCK !!!!!!!!!!
Well, i don't need headers... but as my truck sits right now, it's perfect for a donor. Am located in RI. Anyone wanna Donate some paypal and i'll tow my truck out there?
99 LS1 aluminum block, CurrentPerformance engine mounts, 2000 S10.
No exhaust on the truck, and funds are tight right now to finish... so I wont be working on it till after Xmas time.
I'm Down to donote the truck for a month or so...

Awesome, thanks for listening to the community!
However, can you justify you headers being priced over $200 more than BRP's?
So far you might have a slight quality advantage and an 1/8". We drive S-10's. We want to go fast for as cheap as possible. Why should we buy yours?

The way i see it they have 3 things going for them. Stainless steel. Bigger then whats out there if it can be pulled off. And certainly build quality. Not many are happy with the brps fitment but they are they only ones available. Quality does come at a price. Got to pay to play. If i wasnt going turbo i would sell my current hacked up longtubes for a set of these.

BRP's headers are great if price is your number one concern (and they have lots of applications we don't cover too).
Keep in mind BRP's are only mild steel (half the material price of the 304L stainless we use) and they will rust even with a coating to try protect it.
Stainless Works manufacturers everything from 304L Stainless which has so little iron in it that a magnet won't stick. This material basically cannot rust unless it is exposed to really extreme situations outside the realm of automotive use.

Nobody wants to be the guinea pig. There's a lot of interest but everyone knows that new products sometimes have a few issues. I bet they're waiting to see how they work out. $150 is money I can put in parts I know will work let alone $890. Hopefully this works out.

It needs to represent the "average S10 LS swap" and that should allow them to work for most people's application or only require someone with a different setup to make a modest change to make them work.
My fingers are crossed that we can fit the 1 7/8"
Depending on the space and whether it would help, maybe a stepped 1 3/4" to 1 7/8" header would be possible (but we would have to up the price a little bit if that was the direction we went)
If we can't fit a standard design 1 7/8" primary header, I will come to the group, lay out the options and we can decide as a whole what to do.
We are getting there guys! For those of you that want to see this happen, hit up some other S10 guys and get them over here!

I have gone through this thread and added anyone who threw their name in the hat.
We have enough to start taking deposits. I figure it wouldn't be worthwhile to take deposits from the beginning in case we never got close BUT I think we're going to do it.
Anyone who has put their name in this thread for a set will get a PM with instructions from me this week. Anyone else who is interested, let me know!
-Revolutionary - I'm going through a huge amount of Thanksgiving weekend emails right now. I will keep an eye out. Just to make sure, its Jason@stainlessworks.net
HOPE EVERYONE HAD A GOOD HOLIDAY!

There's a difference. WE BUILD IT.

Also, keep in mind S10 guys: people still buy used CPW headers at a premium and frequently ask him to make more. Don't miss out on this!
