"For clarification-does the CDT-CL 6CF work with TA monsoon systems?"
I currently have them in my doors and they sound incredible. They do work with the Monsoon system and fit in the stock mounts. I would still recommend the Bazookas as a stock replacement for the sail panels just because they are DVC. Other then that the CDT's are a MUCH better speaker. They would fit in the stock location for the sail panels and you would just use 1 pair fo the 2 pairs of wires to install them. For the doors they actually would work better.
The CL-6CF have cast frames as well, not stamped steel. I've been using these for about 2 years now on aftermarket power and they hit nicely. Clean power handling even at high volume levels.

The premium package offers better speakers. The standard package pictured still gets you good replacements with CDT components for the doors. The Bazookas match your stock sail panels better because they are DVC sub like stock.
The Premuim package would be fine with your stock system and be even better if you upgraded to an aftermarket amp later if you chose to do that.
***I went ahead and sale priced the Premium Package down to $349.00 shipped as well!!!!

Can you recommend a good amp for the packages offered for 4th Gens? I am looking at the standard kit and I would like to get as much as I possibly can out of the stock speaker locations. For now I am going to use the factory Monsoon CD player, Alpine later. Also, between Bazooka and MA midbass drivers, which do you prefer for overall sound quality?
I assume that no one amps the hatch speakers, right? Any direction on the amp specs that would fit your package the best would be awesome! Thanks.

I purchased a set of CDT components for the doors and the CDT midbass drivers for the sail panels a little over a year ago and they still kick ***! Great product/price! I run them on the stock monsoon system.
Ian also took the time to answer all of the silly questions I had when I was learning this pain in the *** Monsoon system, both before purchasing them and through the install.

Good to know. I had figured on getting an aftermarket HU later, but I have always been curious as to what amp is commonly used, and what speakers everyone amps. I am not extremely audio knowledgable and was kinda hoping for a general answer like "since this isnt a 5000watt sub system, and you're using this pre-selected kit that is only capable of "x" sound, then we strongly recommend going with a 1.21 jigawatt amp with a flux capasitor set for 88mph." Something like that.

Oh well though, just means i'll be going by the atm later to pay her back...
but at least now i know i have a paypal account... and now mine is the only card on it...
