Yes, all rotors listed are zinc coated. The Z16 ceramic pads are the quietest least dusty pad we offer.

how much more dust and noise will the hp26 pads produce, and will the have good braking cold or will they need to be warmed up first. On the 199.99 price is that with the z16 pads or does it matter

Should I call to make payment or maybe do a request from paypal? Also is there a difference in the brake pads? Ceramic or semi-met I'm referring to.

Hello,

You can call me direct at 708-704-2223 Monday - Friday to make payment or you can send paypal payment to brakemotive@gmail.com and notify me once you have done so.

Regarding the pads, the main difference in performance is the semi-mets are slightly more resistant to fade under high temps. The semi-mets may be noisier and will have a darker ferrous dust versus the quite clean running ceramics. I can also get 26 series high performance semi metallic pads for autocross type use.

Brakemotive, what is the difference between the Power stop rotors and the Kinetics rotors you sell on E-bay? Also are the ceramic pads different?

The main difference is the castings on PowerStop rotors are owned by them and they are cast in Brazil and machined/plated in the USA. The Kinetics are generic OE casting that are cast/machined/plated in China. The ceramic pads included in our ebay auctions are the same genuine PowerStop pads offered here.

96Z28: Sorry I missed your question last time around. The HP26 pads are very dusty and can be very noisy during slow speed stops, there is no getting around that. They function well cold but are much more resistant to high temperature fade. They are not a race compound that needs to reach a high temp in order to function properly. All HP26 pads are made in the USA.

PS I can always get any member any ebay item for 10% off the lowest listing you can find.

Thanks,
Adam

Hey, I'd be in for some pads and rotors. I do almost all street driving but I really value pedal feel under moderately severe braking. What do you recommend?

01 T/A

Also, I read that there is a 3-yr warranty against cracking when the power-stop rotors and pads are used together. Is this accurate?

They called me back after a few hours. They're pretty busy with non forum related sales so be patient.

For mostly street driving a full cross drilled rotor will provide the best resistance to warping due to the increased convection heat transfer from more drilling vs a drilled/slotted rotor.

Yes the rotors are covered for three years against cracking when used with powerstop pads. One year with any other pad.
