The LS6's do not show measurable gains for porting so we do not do it. You can port the t-body for a great "seat of the pants" type gain as the throttle response is so much better. That runs $80.00 on special right now if you send us yours, or add $10.00 for a refundable core charge.

Friday bump for a great deal, time is running out.

Thank you
Dan

We have had several members ask on here and other boards about extending the special, and we decided to extend it for everyone through March 14th.

Thank you for all the orders!

Default Ported Throttle body Question

I have 02 SS Camaro, Hooker Coated Long Tubes 1 3/4, TSP 3 inch catted y-pipe, 3 inch I-pipe all the way to 3 inch Hooker aerochamber with dual 2.5 inch outlets with CME, SLP LID, Smooth Bellows, 3.23 Gear, Stock intake , I assume LS6, Stock A4 and convertor, Stock heads and shortblock, and a dyno tune. The car put down 341.1 HP to the tires.
Is porting my throttle body worth it or should I save my money and spend it on a convertor and or camshaft?
What will porting the throttle body get me with this set-up and I assume i won't need to re tune it.
Thanks

Porting the throttle body will not produce hp/tq increase, but will vastly improve throttle response and will make it feel like you have lost about 300lbs out of the car.

With our ported throttle body you will see greatly improved throttle response and bottom end and mid range torque feel which equates to a significant “seat of the pants” gain. Your vehicle will be 10 times more fun to drive and your throttle response will be greatly increased. The car will feel much "torquier" in the bottom end and mid range. Many liken the difference to taking about 350lbs out of the vehicle.

If you would like to order, just call us at 813 476 7364 - we accept Visa, MC, and AMEX or payal at fastprom@tampabay.rr.com

There is a core charge of $125.00 that is refunded when we receive your undamaged core back. You can also ship us your throttle body directly, allow 2-3 business days for turn around.

Our address is:
Fasterproms
19103 Sunlake Blvd
Lutz, FL 33558

Thank you
