loudmouth I would set them up for 11 to 1 with the x2 cam, I sell any comp custom grind out of the book. I dont sell the g5x2 or 3 cams you will have to call LG motorsports for them. Mikemodano, I sent you a pm, let me know what you think and email me back

Can I get this deal for my truck? 2003 rcsb 5.3L auto 3000 vig stall LS1 edit -- If so, I need heads & cam recommendations please - should you mill the 5.3 heads for more compression (since this is a truck and I think it comes 9.4:1 from factory), say 10.?:1? shave how much? Daily driven, no towing, don't mind the lopey sound.

Hi, Jay. Sent you an email yesterday (before I saw this post) re: heads to match the G5x3 I just picked up. If you've got any Stg II's left, this deal sounds exactly like what I'm looking for!!! I've got a set of #853 castings I could send as cores, too.
Lemme know what you think once you get a chance to read my email.
Thanks, Jay!

Higher compression will gain more torque and throttle responce
Skunk50-- the perfect heads cam combo would be the stg2 5.3's and a tr224 cam on a 114lsa for drivability, The ported ls6 intake does flow a bit better through the runner attched to the head, the 78mm tb and match ported neck flow more than 200 cfm over stock. Feel free to call or email me with any questions sales@absolutespeedls1.net

Only 3 more days to get in on the sale, keep in mind that The heads are cnc'd then hand finished. There is no extra charge for hand finishing with me it is common practice on every set of heads, All heads and every intake port is flow tested as well. There is no slap'em and send'em out products here
