Just talked with Jayson and here's the GP Pricing:

All clear/carbon fiber lids are only $99.00 during this GP!

That's $30.00 off the regular pricing!

This GP will run for the next two weeks (until March 15th, 2004). To place your order just call MTI directly at (281) 870-8787 ask for Wayne or Steve and reference the LS1Tech Lid GP to receive this special pricing.

Lids are in stock and ready to ship or pick up so place your order today!

Special pricing is also available on KN panel and breather filters in conjunction with your lid order - just ask Wayne or Steve for details!

Does it have to be a call-in? I don't have the ability to make long distance calls from my working place, also they're several hours ahead of me

Do I need the K@N breather? I have a 2000 TA WS.6, my dad just got a TSP lid for his 2000 SS and he needed the breather. But on MTI website it says only for 01 and 02 models, so do I or dont I need the breather?

Yeah, you will have to out a filter on the end of the A.I.R. tube. you can get a filter out of the "ricer" section at local Autozone or parts shop for $8-10.
I picked up my carbon fiber lid today

I am in on this as well, TSP doesn't seem to be doing a GP, 99$, can't beat that. For the breather, is it like a valve cover filter type thing? Not exactly sure what a filter out is?

Responded to everyone who e-mailed or PM'd me.

The breather filter is a small circular filter that covers the A.I.R tubes on 2000 and later F-Bodies. MTI has the K&N version in stock on sale for $15.00 during this GP.

BTW, if you want to see some pictures of the different airlid versions, here's the link. This is just for reference only as you've got to see the carbon fiber in person to really appreciate it - it looks great!

Funny thing you mention that. As we were walking out of MTI I told my dad that we could probablly pick that breather up at Autozone for $10.

Is the filter breather that comes with a K & N panel Filter, thin foam thingy, the breather that everyone is refering to? I've got a spare, and was wondering if I just use that or do I have to go to Checker's (closest thing to Autozone in Hawaii) and get the filter that you are all talking about?

It's the A.I.R. hose that went to your old airbox. Also in the pic you can see my new MTI carbon fiber lid.
Hoep this helps.

Clean lookin engine, looks good. I noticed you have a filter in place of the oil cap. Whats that supposed to do? The K&N part # is 62-1030. They don't have a picture of it on the K&N Web Site, just a "similar" pic.

Thanks for the compliment, still have some work to do on the appearence though.
The filter is a "Metco" breather. It is used to relieve the pressure in the crankcase.
