Default Ls1 Source Gp On Canton Aluminum Oil Pans

These light weight aluminum pans feature trap door baffles for much better oil control that will increase horsepower overall and save you some weight in return. we will need 5 orders to get the special pricing. these retail for $575.00 and we will be selling them for $469.99
thank you, bill

Come on give me a break here! It will increase the power when it keeps the oil away from the crank during turns. Will an oil pan, by itself increase horsepower? No. A dyno would not be what you need. The pan would show it's stuff on a course. Then again GMHTP will probably be doing a test on this pan, if they are paid enough, and then claim it can create world peace. Theres' no offense meant in my post, just to point out the use of common sense here, that's all.

Bill, what does the pan look like? I've been to the Canton Racing Products website and all they had was their street/strip oil pan, that looks like an oil pan off a 60's era Hemi, which just isn't what I need. Maybe it's just not up on their site yet but, I might be interested if the design is right. Thanks.

black sunshine/00ss:
they have not given me any dyno #'s on the pan just that the pan with it's better oil control in return overall will give you more horsepower. i soon will be putting one on my car and will be testing it. in my case though i am looking for the additional weight saving for my car not so much the claim in increased horsepower though it would be nice to gain something.

sawedoff:
you may be right about this pan being better for a road course car but with really no one out there running these yet no one can really say they do or they don't. the pan looks like a factory pan but squared off at each corner. it does have a nice clean look to it. i know this month they did have a new add in gmhtp advertising the pan with a picture of it. i hope this helps you out.

slowhawk:
they are a pretty much a direct bolt on. they will come with all the harware needed to install the new pan. the ground clearance is the same as the factory pan.

i hope i have helped everyone with there questions and if you have any other questions please ask. thank you, bill
