I ordered mine before the GP and paid full price. I am still waiting on my hood and some people in the GP already have some hoods ready. I called and asked someone about my order. All he said was it should be ready in another week or so.

Yeah bro that's rough. I work about 2 minutes from VFN and have to drive by everyday. If that doesn't suck, then I don't know what to tell ya. Ha.

Just a thought. If we dont get a call this week..one month after we ordered and were billed..you might want to offer us a further discount for your miscommunication with VFN. Nothing like having your visa billed one month and not having the parts into the next.
Maybe not your fault but it is your responsibility. This sucks and has got to stop sometime. Wish the moderators would step in.

When I called VFN they said it usually takes 5 weeks to build a hood.

I called VFN last week to see where mine was, they said I should see it this week, no later than today! I call them again this week to get a tracking number ;^) They say it "should" ship by next week and I'm the next on the list to have it built, suuuurrre! Never again, this is crap!!! I tried to see if Rex Orr (ASCD) would shoot a "close" deal so that I could pass the word on and we could all cancel this waiting game but no dice, he didn't want to deal. I guess I'll wait another week then cancel if I get the same **** again and order from somebody else. I also deal with a very good fiberglass company (Goldshield) and they have about a two day turnaround on our parts for work. It's NOT rocket science!!!

That is what I do not understand. I ordered mine before the GP direct from VFN and I still have not received the call and I paid full price.
