How about a Short Block GP
Im looking to get forged internals for my new turbo set up. Does anyone have a good hook up on short blocks that will hold a turbo. I have heard that with forged internals you can up your boost and run it all day without problems. Right now i am running 5lb with an option switch to 10. But im only hitting 5lb in fear of grenading the engine. And if im going to go with a short block and do this change should i go big like 422. thanks

AP is awsome. Call them for the best prices and service. Plus they build one hell of a motor. BTW Bdog if you have a turbo kit on your car you should beable to crank it up to at least 7psi w/o any problems, and 10psi would be risky. I would defentially suggest a nice intercoler. Also you said something about a 422. You are talking about some serious cash. Not just for the motor but for some new turbo's. Unless you have a T70 or better your turbo setup wont supply enough boost for that big of a motor. Even with a T70 I doubt you would beable to get much more than 10psi without making your setup run really hot. I would suggest a 346 built shortblock with about 8.5-8.9 compression, or a 388 with about the same compression. Tell me more about the kit you have. Is it a QMP kit. Shoot me a PM as I dont go to this section that often. I can give you APE's phone number. Brian and Chris are both very smart very helpful people. Just have an idea of your goals before you call. That way they can help you out the most.

I actually emailed you a while back for a price on a 6.0 build up.
4.03 bore and stock crank and internals to handle 700 rwhp.
Basically the strongest and cheapest nitrous build possible. Nothing fancy.
