Im looking for a cam shaft for my drag race only car. Looks like its gonna end up a stock bore/stroke motor. Aftermarket rods and pistons. stock crank. What ever the highest compression pistons I can find for a 6.0 with LS3 heads. Basically need all top end stuff. I have a short block.
would like to stay with ls7 style lifters and truinion upgraded rockers. I race 1/4 mile ever once in a while So I will need it to turn about 7500 through traps in 1/4 maybe a little higher if I can.

Trying to get it to make north of 550 hp possible 600.

Super vic intake carb and a msd 6ls box.

I think I covered most of it.

Would like ls3 cnc heads

Man, I don't have anything on special that would fit the bill for that. Give us a call and we can spec a custom cam for you.

Give me more info on the truck. What year? What trans? How much converter? We could easily take one of the 239 exhaust duration cams and have it re-ground smaller to make a really nice 5.3L truck cam.

Anything on special for a stock 5.3/4l80e circle D 2800-3200 stall?

Something similar to the 220R would be awesome.

Also I live in Austin, so I would just come pick it up lol.

Nothing in this list would work very well for you, but all of our cam packages are currently on sale. $629.99 for beehive kits; $729.99 for .650" dual kits. Just give us a call and we will be glad to help you out!

Cam/spring recommendation for a 5.3 ('02 LM7) with 799 heads and truck intake to get 400ish HP? Going into a '74 Nova. Will be a weekend/date night cruiser with the occasional 1/4 mile run. 4l60e and most likely 3.73 rearend (possibility of going with 4.10). Optimum TC paired with your cam/spring recommendation?

Thanks.

Would one of these work for my car?

96 240sx

LQ4 swap
longtube headers
3.0" cat back (no cat)
T56
3.90 diff ratio
80LB injectors
Stock 317 heads
LS1 intake for now
AEM stand alone

Car will have a turbo in the future so I would like something that keeps that in mind. I know it won't be optimal for N/A but turbo is the goal and it won't be long before I do that.

Best option would be the 218/239-115, but I do have a sale pending on it. Next best would be 211/239-113.

Okay, I'll take whichever one you recommend. Are different valve springs/push rods required with these cams or can I get away with stock for now?

218/239 was just sold.

Yes, you would need aftermarket springs and pushrods.
