Default cam suggestion

hi just like everyone else I have a 2003 lq4 stock bore and stroke, stock dished pistons with unported 243's milled around .025 prob gonna use a .041 gasket hoping close to 11:1, stock ls6 intake, and not sure on a t body yet, all going in a 95 Camaro running a turbo 400 with a 2500 stall and 3.73 s and I am looking for some cam help
drivability means nothing to me when I want a smooth idle and street manners ill drive my buick
the car never goes to the track and most likely never will yet im looking for all out power and a nasty idle I will cut valve reliefs if needed and can swap the converter also IF NEEDED although I would prefer not to

I don't have anything in this list to work with a 2500 stall torque converter and with the heads being milled/thinner gasket, you will likely be needing to cut valve reliefs.

You could run the 239/243, but you would want to fly-cut and run a 3800+ stall.

i have your 383 stroker ls1 in my mazda rx7 right now. 3.73 ford 8.8 rear. T56 6 speed. when i bought the motor i accidently went with your -15cc pistons. now i will be rebuilding again with CP bullet pistons. flat tops. and i currently have an EPS 230/232 cam custom speced. i heard the MS4 or ms3 woudl work well with the 383. do you have a cam in your list you recommend ? keep in mind i have a fast 78 intake manifold. and ported TB. 1 7/8 headers and dual 2.5 mandrel exhaust. I do a lot of street and road course. but i also have a 100 shot unit for dragging.

btw looking at your PRC as cast heads . maybe we can strike a deal ?

I have a 2001 ls1 manual camaro with 3.73 gears, long tube headers, cat-back exhaust, slp lid, and a ported throttle body. I am looking for a pretty big cam. Which cam would be best for my application?

If you have sufficient valves springs, you could run the 239/243 .651/.654 cam. It is basically an MS4 on different lobes to achieve more lift. You would want PRC .675" dual springs with this cam. You also could choose the 247/251 .657/.661, with the same .675" springs, if you want to go really aggressive. You shouldn't have PTV issues because of the aftermarket pistons. I can work this cam discount into a heads/cam package. Just give us a call and we will get you fixed up.

I would recommendation the 239/243 to you as well. It should clear without having PTV issues.

No, the special pricing only applies to off-road y-pipes.

Super aggressive! You would need aftermarket pistons or fly cut stock. It won't clear stock pistons.

Would the 251/259 .661/.664 111 be a good choice for my tsp 370 with old school patriot stg 2s?

Super aggressive for a 370cid. I would normally recommend that cam to someone with a 416/418+ motor. That said, it would make a ton of peak power on that setup. Might be lazy down low. It will clear PTV with aftermarket pistons, but make 100% sure the springs are good and sufficient enough to handle that much lift.

Stock internal lq4 going turbo soon. Ported 317s with .660 spings. Lq9 gaskets. Any of these work for my application?

They all have too much duration for stock short blocks. You would need to fly cut or buy aftermarket pistons with valve reliefs.
