Default Digital Angle Gauge

The Holidays are coming, and here is the perfect gift - a Digital Angle Gauge!!

It is a small unit that quickly and easily attaches to the shaft of any standard ratchet, wrench, or breaker bar and measures angular rotation for Torque-to-Yield / Torque Turn fasteners. You can see it in action here:

It was recently named by Motor Magazine as one of the Top 20 Tools of 2013. You can read the whole article here:

Motor Magazine Top 20 Tools of 2013

We are offering it for $85 including shipping (in the continental US) with discount code: LS1ANG

Discount code is good through the month of December.

How does it work, well, WHY does it work. It seems like a best guess type of device, since there is no actual measure of the rotation. It's intriguing. There isn't an explanation on the website, either.

It uses a number of gyros to measure the angular rotation. Since there will always be a pre-torque on the fastener (i.e. 70 ft lbs), it always has a reference point as to where to start counting from.

Let me know if that answers your questions.

Not really, but it's still a neat concept.

Thanks for the orders! We have gotten a couple of emails from people who missed this, so the code will be active for a couple of more days.

Happy New Year.
