Ive been looking for quite some time now for a cam. There are so many cams out there and its so hard choosing the right one. What cam of yours do you recommend with my mods? I want the ultimate cam for stock heads and a completely stock bottom end, naturally aspirated. My car is a 2000 model. I dont feel too comfortable spinning my motor pas 6600 rpms. I will probably set the rev limiter at 6900. I havent tested out my new converter yet (Yank PT4400) but from what Ive read and have been told, its supposed to have a 5700-5900 rpm shift extension. Im not too worried about drivability, I just want to go as fast as possible. Also, I dont wanna have to do any flycutting. Anyhow, here is my list, what do you recommend? Thanks.

Fast Toys ram air kit
K&N air filter
Texas Speed & Performance air lid

are you gonna swap out your 231/237 for the f-14? think there will be much of a gain?

I'm curious cause I have the TSP cam also.

Thanks

Whew, you have a DAMN GOOD combo ! For your setup ,our F14 (232\234-112+4) will be killer. It will make peak power approx 6200-6300 and shift at 6600-6700.

What Manley part# springs do you have and what size slicks?

I love the TSP231/237 but it has a little to be desired under the curve in my opinion it is very peaky in its hp curve, I think f14 cam will be a good gain under the curve more than anything and a little on the peak.

Something solid in the low-mid 240's I have a feeling I'd be better off calling...BTW, who does your grinding?

EDIT: How about this Candy, have someone shoot me a list of every detail you'd need to do a 1-off grind, and I'll get it back to you with the head through intake flow as soon as I finish the intake (Hystandardz@aol.com)

I have been pondering over all of your cams as well and th emore info I get the more undecided I become. WHat is the biggest cam you suggest for .030 milled 241 heads with 2.02/1.60 valves from Absolute Speed. I am using stock gaskets as well. I really don't want to cut the psitons right now. I have an A4 with pretty much all the bolt ons and will be changing the stall to at least 4000 from the 3500 unless you suggest otherwise. I currently have a TR224 and desire more power. I would also appreciate if you could give me an idea of the performance increase. It is a weekend warrior that gets raced a good bit at the track.

Can we get a comparison from FMS as to the differences in the powerband, peak power, and driveability between the FM13 and FM14?
