Is the Alston chromoly? Does it/can it have a pinion angle finder?

I can sell the Alston Torque Arm for $305 normally $325. Its adjustable and is made out of mild steel. Price exludes shipping. Email me or give me a call at the shop if you would like to place an order phil@flp2win.com or 877-FLP-2WIN.

DUmb questions.......
How do you install it? Take the driveshaft out? I realize you will have ho pull the interior for the bolts going through the floor. Where exactly do you bolt it to in the tunnel? Ther are no marking. Thanks

So it actually bolts to the floor board, does this require drilling/welding?

The tunnel brace bolts to the floor, if you look in the pic there is the brace it was just painted.

No welding but requires alot of drilling and you have to remove alot of interior components, center console, carpet, seats to do it.

I had to run a H-pipe true dual system because my Spohn torque arm wouldnt allow an X setup. I like the clearance for the X setup on the Alston, but how would it compare to the Spohn torque arm as far as power goes? The Spohn bolts to the floor board too, in place of the tunnel brace, but it uses a beefy crossmember. The only reason for me wanting to do this swap would be for the clearance to run a X setup. Do they make this piece in chromoly and you just dont happen to offer it, or do they not make it in chromoly all together? Thanks.

This piece does look good, only reason I am considering it is bacause the spohn unit that I am currently running had to be shimmed down to clear teh 4 inch flowmaster collector in my qtp y pipe, and now the ground clearance has become more of an issue, I didn't think that 3/8 of an inch would matter, but I have bottomed the spohn cross brace out more than I care to remember. Could you try to get a couple more pics of the mounting to the floor, I am curious to see a couple different angles of that, looks like the brace "wraps" around the floor board in that pic.

The brace is contoured to fit up in the transmission tunnel.

How much does the piece weigh? It's got to be lighter than stock but just curious. Thanks.

I've used this torque arm for 3 years now. I have an x-pipe and duals. The clearance is great. I had to fab a drive shaft loop. It doesn't come with one. It's a really nice piece.

Why do you have to remove the center console? i guess i am just not seeing everything. anymore detailed pics? just looks like the crossmember bolts up where that brace normally bolts up to. kinda like how the spohn is. torque arm just mounts to the brace and then the brace to the floorboard in that original location? what am i missing? thanks guys.

Chris
