mrr23 - couple of ?s :could u clarify if the $949 for stainless include both the Xpipe and the catback? I looked at the pics on the link but can't clearly see how the pipes go around the rear axle - is one pipe over and one pipe under? Also, what type of stainless and what diameter? Will they work on a vert? Is there a setup to use with LTHs? Please send any info/pics to
Thanks!!!

the system replaces the factory y-pipe and all the way back. here's more pics of it on my car. http://www.stealthram.com/bassanidualexhaust.htm both pipes go over the axle. one does an s bend going between the axle and panhard rod. the system is 2.5". not exactly sure which stainless it is. i'll try to get that answered. as far as the convertibles go. the x-pipe is located right where the tunnel brace is. i had to lower mine almost 1" to get it back on. i've seen a pic over at ls1.com of the tunnel brace for verts. the y-pipe goes through it. you might still be able to get the tunnel brace back on by the same method i did for my car. pricing, sound clip, and ordering on this page: http://www.vincihighperformance.com/...s1exhaust.html

to use the system with longtubes or any other headers at this point, you'll have to make the modifications. the only thing need to be done is hook up the front pipes to your headers.

vinci has worked out a deal with bassani to lower the price to get these exhausts to you guys. it's in groups of 5. the exhausts will be in vinci's hands in 2-3 weeks.

pricing is set as follows:

stainless - $849.00 + shipping

weight on the box i got said 80 lbs.

you have to call your order in to get this price as there has to be 5 people to get the price. (866)462-4500.

Another TD system that won't work with an aftermarket TA. Go figure. Looks good though.

why do you think it won't work with an aftermarket torque arm? i'll take some more pics and look again, but it clears my stock torque arm. and aftermarket arms that hook to the tranny shouldn't be an issue.

BMR Track pack. I wish there was a way for a TD setup with this.

yes that one will not fit it. i put the trak pak on my 86TA i had. joe vinci first tried to install the exhaust on his 98 z28 with the 409 motor they built. he has the trak pak also. going under the trak pak or making your own crossbrace for it would be your only hope. i have a thought on how you can make your own crossbrace and use a true dual. PM me about it.

This is sounding like a sweet deal. I have wanted true duals for a long time and now they are more affordable.

I am hoping to get some feed back from someone that uses these with after market headers. I am using Mac mid lengths.
