LS6 intake group purchase anyone? I have a 99, so I have to go buy an LS6 intake unlike some folks. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Wow! This was posted 1 minute after my other thread asking about the LS6 intake. Whether its part of a group purchase or just a sale price, I'm in. Scoggins-Dickey right now sells it for $399 without the pipes and coolant plugs, so right now thats the best price I've found.

 

The normal price at MTI is $450, but that includes everything you need. I'm hoping Jayson will be willing to give us a deal. Because I want to buy one now.

Sorry for being off topic and all, but I never could understand the cost that people are asking for a composite intake. Yes. they are superior to the metal ones in many ways, but I know for damn sure that these things are cheap to manufacture. In fact they are cheaper to manufacture than an aluminum casting. That's all.

 

I need one w/o EGR provisions. ...And if the price is right, Im in!

 

I have been wanting to get one for a while. So count me in!

But I need one with EGR provisions because I'm wanting to maintain my visual inspection "passing" status. At the very least, it should include everything needed for the F-body application, the coolent lines and the plugs. I know someone locally who can modify it for EGR, so that's a lower priority.
