Ok, everone here has a 1.00 or 5.00 dollar bill. Make an address, everyone spend the .32 cents and mail the money to the address tallying. For some of us, 400.00 is a big purchase, for others, they wont even bother. I think the cool thing about this is spending so little with the chance to win big. I know for instance i need some expensive suspension parts, 4 new tires, brake upgrades...id put in 20.00 bucks for 20 tickets on a bigger ticket item.
400 just seems pretty low, what is some joe schmo sends 200.00 dollars, lol. 50 percent chance right? lol

I dont remember how paypal works, but if the sponsor has to pay for it, then id just take it out of the raffle money, whoever wins is still gonna be getting a bunch of stuff. Also i was thinking as far as legalities go, i dont think a raffle on the net is illegal in anyway. Same thing as on-line casinos. Let us know if your gonna do this BYUN, cause ill definately get a ticket.

this thread is too long for me to look through to see if this point as been broght up...but its illegal....
http://www.runquist.com/article_raffles.htm
thats just that cali, to my knowledge its illegal in almost every state unless its for a non profit orginization.
http://www.oksenate.gov/news/press_r...r20041130.html
stating that its JUST NOW legal for non profit orginizations to hold raffles in the state of OK and prior it was illegal PERIOD to run them.
i think its total bs, but id hate to see some sponsor get their *** sued after running something like a raffle.

also im sure theres more lines elsewhere that wont let you do it period. becuase you can always make sure your buddy who bought a ticket wins the raffle. just sayin. i had a huge ordeal with an online raffle site i tried to do about 5 years ago. i designed it and developed the whole site, and was busted before i sold 100 tickets. had to return all the cash.
