Default RWTD Tuning Special: HP Tuner Custom PCM Flash - $125

Moderators, we are a new LS1 Tech sponsor. Please see John or Tony for details.

LS1 Tech,

We are new to LS1 Tech for sponshorship, but not new to the ls1 community. We have been tuning GM's for many years, with the LSx series of GM's being our primary focus. We also tune all 1997-current GM V6 cars (please see here for a complete list of ALL the vehicles that we are able to tune: http://www.hptuners.com/order.php ). Of all these vehicles, we will tune for ANY combination.

RWTD would like to offer a smoking mail order tuning special! We are currently offering HP Tuner Custom PCM flashs for $125 (plus shipping). This special will be offered indefinitely, and the price may change in the future. We also offer free reflashes within 3 months to tweak the tune if any is needed (all you will pay is shipping to and from). After that it is a very small fee to continue your custom tuning support. You will NOT find a better deal, especially from such experienced tuners as RWTD.

All you will need to do is ship us your pcm (please try to use UPS, FedEx, or DHL, and make sure you insure it for at least $500)! We will ship it back to you with whatever shipping method you purchase (Next Day, 2nd Day, 3-day Select, Ground, etc.; RWTD uses UPS, but will make exceptions). If you already have your own HP Tuners software we can use your .bin file and build your custom tuning from that. Please call us for ordering information, and where to ship to, and/or where to send your .bin file in email to.

Also, we will be launching an all new custom tuning website for GM owners, where you can request and purchase your HP Tuners custom tuning from us, and we will also have a dedicated forums section so you will be able to interact with us and other RWTD customers. The website will be: www.GMcustomtuning.com

For those with the DiabloSport Predator, we are and still will offer the $125 special as we have been doing, which includes unlimited online updates through our custom tuning support website: www.DiabloSportTuning.com (you can order your Predator custom tuning there, as well; click on the "FAQ" link at the top left).

We have a tuning solution for any tuning need you may have! Please give us a call at 251-479-9451 with any questions, and to place your order. You may also reply here with any questions you may have, and myself and James will be happy to answer them.

John has tuned a few of my cars long before RWTD was even heard of on the national boards. He knows what he's doing and stands behind his work. His a good friend, and an asset to the board and community. Looks like my PCM may be coming out soon!

I also have a tune from John. My automatic car put down 370 through the hooker cat back and with a stock throttle body. Thats damn good for only a 224 cam with a converter. Car drives great, no issues at all. Like Scoobie says, he knows what he is doing and will stand behind his work. $125 is a hell of a deal.

Example: After John installed the cam he tuned my car with HP Tuners. I drove around for about two weeks. He met me at the dyno for a dyno tune and I only picked up 7hp. That is how good his tunes are from the beginning.

John,

I have a weird one for you, I'm doing a 55 chevy Truck with a LS1/4l60E combination. I currently have the following:
Stock motor with 47K
Mac mids/True duals
U/D pulley
Ported TB
9" rearend with 3.70 gears.

I would need to remove the VATS and emissions devices and unnecessary devices, could you do flash my PCM to make it run once I fire it up?
Then later I will be adding Cam, valve springs, double timing chain, and maybe some heads - I know this would be extra work but that's the setup I would want?

What about connecting the wire harness?

I can tune that for you. That isn't a problem at all. I didn't understand what your asking about the harness though. We have a desktop setup to connect to the pcm if that is what ya meant.

Hey guys,

I know John personally. He is a great guy. I have used RWTD in the past and it was a great experience. John has tuned the Hawk to pur like a kitten. And this was before I even started to car! Also, John and RWTD will be tuning my nitrous huffing LME 408 here in a few weeks also. John and RWTD knows how to tune!!!! This is a great deal!!

Ben

John-

I originally had a Diablo Predator and received several custom tunes thru email. Then I had my car tuned on the dyno using LS1Edit - the program is not locked.

If I send in my PCM will you be able to duplicate the LS1Edit tune I have (plus a couple tweaks ) in HP Tuners? I plan on getting HP Tuners in the future to use myself and would like to have an HP Tuners PCM to start with.

No, we're not evil like that, although you have put a nasty thought in our heads, MUHAHAHA!

Jay, yes sir! Actually, we'll be backing up your file on your pcm now "as-is", therefore it will be your calibrated file from the LS1Edit tune. We'll make whatever tweaks are necessary then. Once you get your HP Tuners then you'll basically just be doing the same thing, but working from the new calibration we gave you, instead.

Thanks!

Everyone:

I just wanted to touch base about HP Tuners 2.0. I received notice earlier from Keith at HP Tuners that they were accepting orders from us tunershops for 2.0 now. As said, this is currently for tunershops only, and the end-user version will be coming after all the tunershops are setup (please see Keith's posts here ).

With that being said, I went ahead and put my order in tonight for the Unlimited version for '05 Vettes and GTO's, which includes the USB interface. It should be shipping to me on/around the 26th of this month (or shortly thereafter).

We will be offering the same deal for LS2 owners as mentioned here in John's post.

Thanks!
