What do the larger valves flow?
How much gain is there to be had using the bigger valves?
I currently have a 220/224 .597/.589 113 LSA cam/Kooks 1.75 LT with cats/K&N intake/Borla cat-back/slp p&p tb.

The upgrade to a 2.04/1.575" setup is $400.
Here's some flow info on the last set:
.300 210
.400 259
.500 297
.600 317
For someone wanting a awesome head at a great valve the big valve setup is still way cheaper than other options that probably dont flow near as well!

I just ordered a set.Cant wait! The ls6 heads are going on the trans am. That`ll bump the compression up to 10.5,which will work well with the 224/563 cam and longtube headers already installed. And I`ll swap the ls6 springs onto the gto(which has a stock cam for now with procharger) and swap the 918 springs and titanium retainers onto the new heads. I`ll get the best of both worlds. BOTH cars will run better!!!! I just couldnt see spending 440 for a valvetrain upgrade on the gto when for 849 I get ls6 heads. SWEET!!!!!

Should have some results posted pretty soon of the Stage 1 PRC LS6's.
Stripstar, we normally use Manley and/or Ferrea. Some ports work better with one brand over the other, depending on the head itself. Also, the 2.04 and 1.575 valve job can be cut into the stock seats with good results, going bigger than on the intake that would require a seat replacement.

The LS6 springs are free, so no price difference with or without them. We already mill about .002-.003" from each head for cleanup, so if its not much more than that we can cut it for no additional as long as its nothing crazy.

I ended up upgrading to the 2.04 amd 1.575 valves along with the double springs with titanium retainers.Cant wait to get them on the trans am. I will be taking the comp cams 918 springs and titanium retainers off the stock heads on the t/a along with the hardened pushrods and install them onto the goat.

You`ll probally be waiting a while. I ordered mine on the 18 th and still havent heard or seen anything yet. I did change my order a few days later to the upgraded valves and springs. Maybe someone will chime in sooner or later. No one seems to want to answer if they are in stock and how long the wait is.
