BTW, I have Bogart Force 5s and I love em. Fit and finish is awesome.
No one is bashing, I just don't feel like paying more than twice the money for a wheel that doesn't look as good as a Prostar in my own opinion. The weight savings between the two is minor.

Well you guys are lucky in general. I own a GTO and HAVE to order custom wheels! So I called into Steve and went over a bunch of stuff! Now I have a set of Drag On Star 3 wheels on the way to me within the month custom fitted for my car. Yes they are expensive, but not bad at all. Hell if I got wheels to show off my car I would have spent $3000 easily. I am spending under $2000 now and I plan on making very frequent trips to the track!

Plus I have yet to see the Drag On Star 3 wheels on any other car... definately not locally! So I am also excited that I will be one of very few!

I have to add that not only are Bogarts superior in looks and quality, but the value of reduced rotational weight shouldn't be overlooked.

To each his own, but I'm on my second set of Bogarts from Steve and the only reason for swapping is due to further weight reductions and a set of P2s.

Thanks Steve.

Like it's been said, Bogarts aren't for everyone. Some people like them, others don't. It does suck about the price increase, but how can you expect them to stay the same price with everything else going up? I'm just glad I got my set before the increase. Thanks again Steve!

I think "bashing" was the wrong word.... I was trying to state that Weld is not a sponsor on this site so it seems a bit akward that we are telling a paying sponsor his wheels are over priced and dont outweigh the competition......

Bogart and Weld both make great wheels. They ARE substantial differences between the two. Bogarts may be close in overall weight, but where the weight is within the wheel is a key factor..... I did ALOT of homework before getting my Bogarts. This includes physically comparing both in person, on scales and balancers.... Overall the Bogart is a much better piece and their customer service is second to none...

This is all just my opinion of course

So just curious, what would a set of just the Bogart front skinnies for an LS1 go for? On average, nothing custom or anything.

All Bogarts are custom. That what makes them so nice.
