I am in the Navy stationed in the Middle East. I have a 2000 Trans Am with 2.73 gears. It has catback, airbox, P&P Throttle Body. I will be getting Long tubes soon. How much can I get a converter for & what stall will I need? I would call but am in the Middle East.

WOW!!!
This years mod for the 97 TA is a torky converter. Glad Pampered-Z told me to check this out. Obviously and LT1, the 97 TA presently has 3:42 gears, might move up to 3:73 later in the fall. Headers and SLP cat back. Running a GM847 cam, stock heads, no nitrous. Driven only in fair weather and usually then to the track, meaning the car only gets about 2K miles per year. The chart indicates something like a SS3200, but I wouldn't mind go a bit higher if that would work. Streetability is somewhat a concern, but I can "sacrifice a bit" for better 60' and 1/4 track performance.
thanks...

Tried to call & got the answering machine. It wouldn't let me order online.
