They are also designed to put the 6 speed shifter location in the stock corvette location to keep the interior Stock appearing. You could use either of our other plates but may have to modify or clearance some of the body to accommodate the rear positioning....
It's really only a inch or two forward from a stock sbc.

We would Not recommend moving it any further rearward as it starts causing heater box clearance issues (heater box not installed in these pics).

You can use either balancer depending on what accessory drive you decide to run.I am not 100% sure the f body alternator works in the stock location but it should be close.... These come in raw finish...

We used the standard units in our car with a low mount ac configuration, but we moddified the crossmember and used a aftermarket pan...

I've been seriously considering dropping an LS? in my 74 Camaro Z28. Any suggestions? I was going to drop a late model Chevy Truck 6.0 or 5.3 in it because of availability and almost as cheap as rebuilding the trashed 350. I'll use the origional TH400 tranny and driveline if possible.
Thanks.
Thanks.

i am going to be puttin an ls1 out of a 99 fbody into a 77 corvette. I see that you say ur plates put the t56 shifter in correct position but what if we want to use a 4l60e out of the trans am. How is the shifter position in relation to the factory interior. also is there anything else you sell that work for this swap particuallaryl headers. I was also wondering what you do with the power steering. do u guys use the fbody pump and fab the lines to fit on the corvette rack or is there a better option. let me know thanks

I have a few headers that will work, they are shorties.... The mounts will put your trans in a great postion but you will have to configure a way to shift it if using the factory shifter.. If you have any questions feel free to give me a call
