Are you guys going to be offering any dyno-tune specials this spring? My buddy has a t/a that will need a tune for a bunch of stuff he changed this winter.

Is there any difference in prices for a '05 gmc sierra? I want a vig converter installed with rear gears. How is labor for installing 5.13 gears?

Just a question...how do you make any money on the cam swaps? Assuming the dyno tune takes a few hours, it just doesn't seem possible when most other shops are around $2,000.

bOOsted : yes..we will most likely run a 20% off special again come spring

dug : add $150 for labor...just a bit harder / time consuming working over the fenders of a truck + fan removal

Dan would probably make you look like that! lol Their prices are VERY hard to beat. They do more LS1's than ANYONE in the area, along with having the FASTEST! Ease up killer, you want them on your side.

I have nothing but respect for speed inc, but what does height of the fender have to do with installing torque converter and gears?

Working on a fbody is more of a pain than the truck. Half the engine is under the cowl. Some of the plugs can only be changed from underneath the car.

good deal

dug : sorry I thought you had asked about the cam as well as the vig/gear deal.

The converter swap will be the same if 2WD, but if 4WD we will charge an additional $100.

gear wise the install should be about the same, but we are not offering that ratio on the special however we can special order it.

email me when you are ready and we'll work something out

Hi Andy

Hey Larry, Gotta say you guys at speed in are top notch.

Larry has hooked me up a number of times and is an all around good guy. Had my Vig 3200 & cooler installed by them a little bit ago, and they did an excellent job! wouldn't hesitate one bit to do business with them.

If only i weren't already over my head in my FI project, I'd be goin for that cam package myself man! See ya in the spring for my P1 tune

Default Larry--- The wife gave me a great x-mas present...

She said I could have you guys do a cam install and wellah... YOU GOT A SPECIAL ON!!!!

I need you to give me an additional quote to do an LS6 intake swap (I already have the intake) also.

I'm going to do the headers before I bring it in.

Please PM me if I can book a slot sometime in the middle or end of Feb. and the add'l. charge to do the intake swap also at that time.

I will pay in advance. (As soon as you'd like)

2000 Z-28
m6
67000 mi.
Car has 241 heads (built late 2000)
Original exhaust from "Y" back and I'd like to keep it that way (quiet).
Only mod is a K&N flat oval lookin' thing where the lid belongs.

Baseline runs are:
2.2-2.9 60'
13.40's @107.

Cam in the range of 224-224 .581-.581 112-113 lsa. but you know better than I do what is best...
Not lookin' to make a great peak dyno number. Want real world driveability.

it's not too far

We have done many installs for out of state customer. They grab a hotel for a couple days during the process.
