With a full set of slotted only rotors (yes, zinc'd and Cryo'd) and just the front pads, about $334 to your door.

Just an observation... Unless you are trying to achive a certain goal and already know what to expect, I would imagine that running a less capable pad out back will throw off the balance of the braking system under extreme (ie: emergency) situations, in much the same way as an adjustable proportioning valve biased farther towards the front would.

I'm only pointing this out because the HPS pads have so much more "bite" than a standard semi metalic. A braking system operating at 90% of its capability may not be noticeable during day to day, or even spirited driving conditions. But in an emergency situation, loosing 10 feet of stoping distance can mean the difference between being 5 feet behind someones bumper or 5 feet into it... Disclaimer concluded!

334 sounds great...and what im trying to do is get rid of some of the rear brake bias. im switching over to z06 front calipers, and they have smaller pistons, so im trying to offset the already strong rear bias with some less aggressive pads. im eventually deleting ABS all together so I can just adjust the bias with a proportioning valve like you said.

I knew you had a plan. I was just covering the basics, trying to be a responsible vendor!

Price check for shipping to 60448.
For drilled / slotted rotors with hps pads and how much if the pads were ceramic... is it worth it to go to the ceramic on these anyway?
