Nasty Performance High Flow Fuel Rails

How would these work w/ a truck manifold? I got to believe they are a little different. Do you think you could come up w/ some different mounting hardware for a truck installation?
Maybe truck manifold w/ LS1/LS6 injectors.
Thanks,
Gregg

Re: Nasty Performance High Flow Fuel Rails
The injectors are not the problem its where the rails bolt to the intake. We would need to make new mounting hardware. I will get ahold of a truck intake and see what we could come up with.

Re: Nasty Performance High Flow Fuel Rails
My understanding is that truck and car injectors have two different shapes/sizes which causes the fuel rails to be mounted differently. If I use the truck injectors, then different mounting hardware will definitely be need. However, maybe you can check to see if I use car injectors, maybe the car mounting hardware will work.
Either way, if you can come up w/ something that will work for my set-up, I would definitely be interested.
BTW, where is the pressure regulator? I thought the stock set-up uses a vacuum controlled regulator that is on the stock fuel rail?
Thanks

IslandTahoe - The trucks have a vacuum controlled regulator. The cars don't.
An aftermarket regulator would have to be mounted on the return line if you put this on your truck.

Gee, if I look at that set-up, there doesn't seem to be a return line.
XLRN8SS - and I thought this would save me some of the agony you went thru switching over to LS1 injectors.

Yes you would have to add a fuel pressure regulator. Not hard to do with the feul rails just a differant fitting for a return line. We do that for people setting up complete fuel systems with our rails. I will get a hold of a truck intake and see what we can come up with for mounts.

Nate -
Thanks. I would need as close to a bolt-on set-up as possible. Fabricating is just not one of my strong points.
I wouldn't mind switching over to LS1 injectors vs truck injectors if that helps out the set-up.

So let me get this straight
You have figured out the fuel rails so that they will accomadate LS1 injectors which are taller than the stock truck injectors
If you have a set ..I need a set of the rails Asap
what would you do for the Fuel presure regulator that the trucks use
I need a Price on both Rail and regulator
As i am puttin the truck together next week
Thanks
Jim
Ps thanks for the quick shipping on the Yella terra's you ROCK

Re: Nasty Performance High Flow Fuel Rails
Nate,
Got the FR's and they look great. After having you Fed-Ex over night...there is a two week delay in getting my engine ... oh well, it's all part of the game .
Say the only thing I would recommend is some install directions...would save time in trying to figure out.
Once install in complete I will post pics..
Thanks,
Ron

Re: Nasty Performance High Flow Fuel Rails
Speed Inc. has a new supplier they now look differant than what you have.
No real advantage on a heads and cam car the stock rails are good for about 600hp. They look great installed on your motor though. And yes you can get them without the gauge no problem.
Sorry bout the wait Ron and I would love some picks of the car too.
Thanks Nate
