Default Idea for exhaust sales....

Why doesn't one shop get a set of Hookers, PPC, Pace Setters, SLP, Edlebrocks etc and make a y-pipe for every header with removable cats. As of now, everyone has headers and just about every y-pipe has no cats or built in cats. People with daily drivers could use the option of removable cats and I'm sure they would be willing to pay a little more.

Just an idea.

Our Y Pipe fits hookers, ppc, jethot, kooks and would assume pacesetters. The y pipe comes in pieces so it can be swaped for cats to cutouts to off road pipes. I just have not had a chance to price it out for the extra pieces. But here is a picture of it.

Juice, I did not want to buy the FLP setup because of the extensive cost.

Barry - I had no idea that you offered a y-pipe that could come apart to remove/add cats. Now that I know what is offered, what is your pricing for a coated setup that comes with the off-road pipes and cats?

The y pipe is not coated. Its aluminized. The cat y pipe is $500.00 and the off road pipes are about $125-150

So we're talking about 650.00, plus the headers (630.00). It would add up to be 1300.00 with the little things I need (bolts, gaskets etc) and it's not even coated (I live in New England).

I'm looking do this cheaper than buying the entire FLP setup. Might as well spend the money on the coated FLP set that comes with cats, pipes and everything I need.

No cheap way out of LS1 exhaust's. Jeepers creepers.

I was in the same position. I just waited till FLP had a sale and bought them. As expensive as they are, you cannot beat them.

I would buy another brand, if they were stainless (coated option), stainless Y-pipe, with cats. Living in New England sucks. My FLPs were starting to rust by the collectors after less than one year.
