The Lakesea has an interesting look, it looks "grippy" but not being able to get a 275 is a major turnoff. I think UMI has/had been getting good results from the BFGoodrich on their autocross project cars, IIRC. You also can't go wrong with an old school hero, BFGoodrich gets my vote!
The Toyo tire would probably be my choice (the front has a wider tread width than the BFG in your size), but it doesn't appear that an appropriate-sized rear tire is available from Tire Rack, so I'm gonna have to go with the BFGoodrich. Bonus points for being made in the USA.
I sold 1000's of Nexens in the past, they are a very nice tire. I really can't say enough good about them. Those SU4's do wear pretty quickly, but that is to be expected I guess.
I'm going to roll with them strictly because I enjoyed the entire line in the past.
BFGoodrich is stomping away but with just over 3 days left, it's still anyone's game here. Don't forget, a vote for your pick is a chance for you to win the $100 Tire Rack Gift Certificate. The winning tire will go on Ron Burgundy and a random voter from that winning tire will win the prize. So, each vote increases the chance that you'll get it because your tire choice will have a better chance to win.
I've also got some more interesting things brewing in my head at the moment. One is an additional livery that I'm inspired to do thanks to this being the 24-hours of LeMans weekend.
So, as promised, here is the additional livery to commemorate the 24-Hour of LeMans weekend! I introduce to you the S10.RB design. Again, simple, looks like the C7.R livery at LeMans, and has it's on version of a "Jake" head with "Ron."
Let me know what you guys think and, possibly, we'll do another contest once I come up with a third and final design.
