Question Kee Audio-CDT Speakers

ok guys im not much into the whole stereo thing but i already have a nice alpine headunit and all i want to do is replace all of the factory speakers with better quality ones. i dont want big subs or anything just something i can get good quality sound from and if i wanted to get some subs down the road they would work well with them. with that said i was looking at kee audios site and found cdt speakers and was looking at this package

4th Generation Firebird and Camaro Premium Replacement Speaker System
Full Speaker Replacement

**SALE PRICE: $349.00

Premium Speaker Package Includes:
1.) CDT CL-E61CV component speaker system (doors)
2.) CDT CL-6 midwoofer drivers (sail panels)
3.) CDT CL-4EX coaxials (rear hatch)

what do you guys know about them?

what do you recommend me going with?

are you going to keep the stock amp? If you, so might want to stick with the CL-61CVs since you won't take full advantage of the CL-E61CVs with the stock amp, hell, you won't even take full advantage of the CL-61CVs with the stock amp. I have a 121W RMS x 2 amplifier running my CL-61CV front components and I love them, great improvement over the stock speakers.

IMO, leave out the rear hatch speakers, you'll never miss them!
Also inside the doors, and behind the sail panel speakers put a layer of Damplifier with Over Kill Pro glued to it behind the speakers in both locations.

If you get the Kee Audio package, you pay hardly anything for them.

that package is great, and since you dont have plans for a sub/amp right now, id so go with the kee audio setup and put in the hatch speakers.

Sounds good to me. Just make sure you mess with you eq setting to get a good mix out of them and you should be fine!

I just recently bought the standard package from Kee and I am very pleased with it. Damn near every one of my OEM speakers was blown. Like you, I just wanted to replace the speakers. It has been a long time since I heard a monsoon system with stock speakers that were not blown so it is hard to say how much better mine sounds than stock. It does sound a ton better than stock with blown speakers.
