Default How to remove bezel in front of radio?

Before I break the thing off, how does the bezel in front of the radio (00' T/A Monsoon) come off so that you cna change the radio?

Thanks.

Checked FAQ's and couldn't find anything.

Carefully pull it. There are metal clips near the corners.

Just pry a little on the corners and it should pop right out. I usually just pull on the bottom (only place I can get a hold of with my fingers) and slowly pull until one of the edges come loose.

I made a small video of how to remove the bezel and put it back on:

I basically started at the top middle. When that part pulled away slightly (the clips havent budged yet), I slide my fingers left and pop off the left corner and work my way around to pop off all four corners.

And it was. Whole deal took 10 minutes. Most of it trying to get the connectors out of the radio.

Thanks again.

14 years of owning the car and never had the head unit out of the car until today to install a PAC AUX/iPod input. This thread helped me not snap that SOB plastic trim. LOL

Even more impressive? The video link above from 2005 still works! :-)
