Default finally installed everything...HOLY ****

CDT-HD comps, pushed by PG xenon 200.2 amp
JVC KD-AVX1 headunit
and i already had, JL10W6 pushed by PG tantrum 500.2 amp..but it sounds so much better being 'controlled' off the HU rather than some 'bass ****'

anyway...i cant even begin to describe how badass the speakers sound. CRYSTAL clear even when turned way way way up, farther up than i could ever bare to listen to them. you can hear instruments and peices of songs/music i never knew were there before. the midbass response is incredible, nice and tight and precise.
the headunit is too freakin' cool. very good SQ, cool features, and although i'm not sure when or how often i'll watch a movie in my car, the screen is very clear, clean and bright. put in a war movie and you feel like you're being bombed and shot at
anyway, just thought i'd share my happiness
it's perfect overall for me...

lol i just went out and took some...albeit, very shitty ones, because its dark and this camera is HORRIBLE. but better than nothing.

the amps are centered, dunno why it looks so far off :hmm:

the punisher playing, although you cant really tell lol

tweets mounted, mids mounted where the stock ones were as well.

only thing i'm not happy about is that my HUmount wouldnt work with this headunit, so i just used a plain ole dash kit, but mark at HUmount ought to be able to make me another one that will fit this head unit and it will look MUCH better when it's flush mounted than how it is now.

that headunit is badass.. typically not a fan of jvc, but this deck is pretty sweet. and the tweeter mounts look clean.

I hope you have some dark tint on that back window or live in a really good neighborhood. Around here those amps would be gone within a week being displayed so nicely like that.

But otherwise looks good

i do have dark tint, and the flap thing is always over them anyhow. i've had the tantrum for well over a year now, no problems.

Are those comps the HD62's? How did they fit depth wise in the door?

Where did you get the HD-62's for $300?!
The best I've found them for is the upper $300 range.

most deffinitely. i was going off the reccomendations of a few buddies and had never actually heard anything from cdt, so i was somewhat hessitant. but i couldnt be happier. these are on par if not better than any focals and other major 'high-end' brand.

Yep. Highly visable part too. Good thing you did such a good job.

I love nothing more then to see/hear peoples reactions after they install their first quality system. Big reason why I do all my friends work for free. Great job man.
